Tuesday, Dec. 20
finish discussion of Electric Potential
Demo: Leyden Jar
fun making hair stand up :)

HW:  refresh your memory (review notes) before class starts up on January 3 :)
HW:  Extra Credit opportunity: Electric Field Hockey
Instructions:
- Google "PhET Electric Field Hockey" to get to the simulation. You'll have to run the file (it's a JAVA applet).
- Set the "puck" to positive
- turn on trace

- Practice mode: Create a picture or fancy pattern
- Practice mode: Get the puck into the goal with as many charges as possible and the "wildest" path.
- Difficulty modes 1, 2, and 3: Get the puck in the goal with as FEW charges as possible. You must go around each wall. You must stay visible on the screen. You may not go through the wall(s)

when you successfully get the puck in the goal, take a screen shot or snipping of your successful path (make sure the path has been turned on and is visible). Insert that into a Word document.

email me (at FowlerR@issaquah.wednet.edu) your completed Word document. Include a heading with your name and date, as well as screen shots for all 5 (or however many you did). :) Have fun!!

due--Tuesday, Jan. 3

Winter Break--No School
