Welcome to IB Physics (HL) year 2!

Welcome back!  I hope you're ready for another great year of even more physics fun!  This year we will start with a tiny bit of review to make sure you remember what we covered last year...and what you may have to review on your own using your assessment statements and last year's notes!  Last year's notes can be found in the "syllabus information" section of the drop-down menu under "IB Physics 2" (or...just click HERE).  I'll do my best to make sure that all of last year's power points are added to that page.

This year we will be covering a bit more about gravitation and gravitational fields (picking up where we left off last spring), Electrostatics, magnetism, electric circuits, and the interactions between electric and magnetic fields, Energy production, Quantum, Nuclear, and Particle physics, Waves and Wave phenomena, and Rotational Mechanics.  Whew!  Given the amount of material we need to cover before the HL Physics exam in May, there will likely be after-school sessions to cover review of materials, as well as any supplemental information that we didn't have time to cover in class--but we'll get the vast majority of the material covered in class!
