Spartan Rocketry Club

A club dedicated to promoting the awesomeness of model and high-power rocketry!  Students participate annually in The American Rocketry Challenge

Skyline is proud to have had teams qualify for the National TARC Fly-Offs seven times: 2004, 2005, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2017.
We're hoping to make it 8 this year!

Rocketry Club Meetings

Held every Thursday after school in room 1111

Meeting time will be used for learning the fundamentals of rocket design and construction, working as a team to design the competition rocket using a computer simulation program, and designing and building the rocket together.  As needed, we will be discussing fundraising opportunities and other rocketry-related learning opportunities.

Students are encouraged, but not required, to become members of the National Association of Rocketry (NAR)

Students are required to follow the NAR Model Rocket Safety Code during all design, building, and launching activities.
