September Assignments--IB Physics 2
2018-19 School Year

Wednesday,   Sept. 5
Welcome back!

Seating chart and Ice breaker
Announcements/To-do's:  WebAssign, turnitin.com, course expectations, safety, class survey

1st year informational worksheet--work on this individually using no notes or anything other than your own brain.  Turn in at the end of the period. :)

HW:
  • Please fill out this survey by next Tuesday
  • Read course expectations.  Bring any clarifying questions to class next Monday
  • Read through the district safety expectations (found HERE) and print off page 4 (sign the acknowledgement form and return it)
  • Print off the expectations' signature sheet.  Once you have your clarifying questions answered, sign everywhere there is a request for student signature; have a parent sign everywhere there is a request for parent signature.  Bring this signed sheet back and turn in by Tuesday, Sept. 11.
  • Enroll in this year's class for WebAssign.  Use the same account you had last year, but you now need a new class key.  Go HERE to find that info.
  • Enroll in this class for www.turnitin.com
Due date for all of these is Tuesday, September 11.  See Important Digital Information for details about all of these!

Thursday, Sept. 6
Intro to Rotational Mechanics!
Demo Observation Sheet--please hang on to this throughout the unit, as we will be periodically using it.  This will be included in the first journal packet turned in.

Key for the refresher "quiz" we did yesterday.  Check your work, then make sure this worksheet is included in your first journal packet

Friday
